La Vera Costanza has just returned from a tour of seven Universities through the southern region of the United States!
The trio gave a series of masterclasses, workshops, and lecture demonstrations about historical clarinets and performance practice as well as performing concerts as a basset-horn trio.
They introduced the historical basset-horn to very fascinated music students of all kinds at these Universities.
The trio enjoyed spending time between all the classes and concerts speaking to the students, letting them try the instruments, advising on individual projects, and hearing their ideas.
Marie and Toni spoke in a class on 20th Century Music about the historical performance movement, and about research methods to students working on making their own editions from classical manuscripts.
They listened to clarinet students perform pieces for them in masterclasses ranging 
from the Mozart Concerto to the Brahms Sonatas and the Debussy Première Rhapsodie.
They visited Florida State University, the University of Montevallo and Troy University in Alabama, and four schools in Arkansas: the University of Arkansas, Fayetteville, the University of Central Arkansas, Hendrix College, and Harding University!
